Local Government Management of Service Delivery Inception Meeting at Kayunga District Headquarters.

A team from the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM)is conducting the National Local Government performance assessment held an inception meeting on Friday with kayunga District technical staff at the District headquarters

This exercise will be conducted for 3 days whose main objective is guiding, resource allocation, reward effective practices and identify areas that require improvement in local governments. 

 Local government performance assessment evaluates district performance across key sectors such as education, health, water and sanitation, accountability and environmental management.

Assessment majorly focuses on service delivery, functional systems and accountability.

The Chief Administration Officer Mr. Mahabba Malik welcomed the team and expressed the district readiness noting that technical staff had compiled all necessary documents and evidence for the exercise. 

He encouraged his technical team to actively engage in this exercise, share information transparently and learn from the evaluation team expertise.

The team leader called for cooperation from all sectors to ensure a successful exercise.
