District Chairperson Handing over Desks to Schools.

In a bid to improve service delivery in Kayunga district , the District Chairperson handed over 330 desks to 9 Schools in the District. 

The Secretary for Education applauded the District Chairperson for this initiative of equiping schools with desks which has greatly improved performance.

He further thanked CAO together with DEC for supporting the idea of procuring Desks to support Schools. 

The Senior Education Officer appreciated the district heads for the support towards the Education Department and pledged Committment to schools as he carries out monitoring and supervision.

The PAS on behalf of CAO highlighted challenges with maintenance and urged headteachers to budget accordingly. 

The LCV Chairperson put it clear that this initiative was not political but done out of love for the district targeting the transformation and well-being in schools and performance improvement. 

He encouraged the Technical team to budget for maintenance.
