Apac District Delegation on a study Tour in Kayunga District.

Kayunga District hosted a delegation from Apac that was led by the District Chairperson, councillors and Technical staff for a bench marking tour . 

 

The visit focused on sharing experience and performance in the similar activities for both Districts. 

 

 Kayunga was identified because of its performance compared to Apac District that has been in existence for more than 30 years compared to Kayunga. 

 

The benchmarking visit focused on the following areas;

 

1.Revenue performance with reflection on Departmental contribution.

 

 2.Educational

 performances and contribution to good performance. 

 

 3. Production ; inputs in both crop, animal with special interest in goat rearing. 

 

4.Council performance in terms of legislations and roles in District transformation.

 

The DCAO kayunga applauded the team for the bench marking visit and emphasized the importance of networking since it strengthens local governments since they learn from each other.

 

The team was so impressed with the presentation from Kayunga technical staff and said we have grasped and promised to implement the same in their District.

 

The District Chairperson kayunga commended the collaboration and encouraged the continued engagement for mutual development.

 

The LCV Apac expressed gratitude to the Kayunga team for the warm reception and thanked kayunga for sharing their vast knowledge and Experience.

He promised to host kayunga for a more fruit ful deliberation and transformation for his people.

Welcomed the Apac delegation and assured them that security was intact.
